Unlikely Collaborators exists to help individuals and communities resolve conflict through self investigation and self-understanding by providing tools and opportunities for Perception Box exploration, expansion, and celebration. The Perception Box is a metaphor that explains how every human alive experiences the world differently depending on the meaning created from past events and encounters.

Playposium 2025 will center the idea of the Perception Box as we explore how to unlock our power as educators and the impact on students, all through the lens of play!

 

About the Event

This time we are going to play, outdoors!

Playposium 2025 will take place in the glorious Colorado Rocky Mountains at DU’s Kennedy Mountain Campus. The three-day and three-night adventure will start at the University of Denver’s urban campus. From there, we will be whisked by bus up into the mountains for a program packed with play, creation, community and lots of relaxing time surrounded by nature. The group cabins are up-to-date shared living spaces you remember as a kid. The included meals will take place in the community dining room. And yes, there will be s’mores.
